The mStudent ID is the basic form of a student ID and is a separate, independent document that works within the mObywatel application on a smartphone.

Using mLegitymacja, you can confirm your student status and eligibility for discounts and exemptions by displaying the document on your phone screen. The person verifying your eligibility using the mWeryfikator app sees your name, photo, and the validity of your ID card.

A person who :

- has active student status

- has a PESEL number

- has a Trusted Profile established and confirmed

- has the mObywatel application installed

Installing and activating the ID card

To install and activate mLegitymacja on your smartphone, you need the mObywatel application installed, for this purpose:

1. Install the mObywatel app on your smartphone. It's available in both  the App Store (iPhone) and  Google Play  (Android).

1. In the mObywatel application, click the "add document" button - then select Student ID.
2. In the next steps, you will read the description of how to activate mLegitymacja and accept the terms and conditions of the mLegitymacja service.
3. You can activate mLegitymacja via the QR code and the verification code received at the university, for this purpose:
4. Open the website https://mlegitymacja.uafm.edu.pl/

6. Log in to the mLegitymacja Electronic Issuance System using your data for the Central Login System
7. Click the "register on your phone" button
8. Follow the information displayed on the screen:

- run the mObywatel application

- scan or enter the QR code into the mObywatel application

- enter the verification code into the mObywatel application

9. Click the "confirm receipt" button

After completing the last step, your mLegitymacja will be added to the mObywatel application

mLegitymacje will be available from October 1, 2025.

Extending the mLegitymacja

Extending your mLegitymacja is not automatic and requires your active participation. To extend your mLegitymacja for another semester, you must delete your mLegitymacja in mObywatel and repeat the above procedure again.

If you replace your phone, you will need to cancel your current mLegitymacja and order a new one according to the procedure described above.
